How to use our Zoom Video Integration.

Note: Only Admins and Group Leads can schedule new events, which means that only these users can link their Zoom accounts.

How the Zoom integration is used

The Zoom integration is used when creating new events and when reviewing attendance for events.

The Chezie Zoom integration uses the Account level Zoom scope. This allows us to gather Account ID's for your Leads and Admins who will be scheduling events and utilizing the Zoom integration. After your company's Zoom account is connected during the onboarding process, every Lead will have their Zoom Account ID stored on their User profile. From there, whenever a new event is scheduled, this Account ID is pulled to create a new meeting in Zoom and attach that Zoom meeting link to the calendar invite sent via Google or Microsoft Calendar.

Scheduling new events

  1. Navigate to your group's profile page. Click on the Events tab.

  2. Click NEW.

  3. Enter your event details:

    • ERG Event name

    • Event pillar

    • Event date & start time

    • Event date & end time

  4. Enter your event description

  5. Enter your event location. This is where you will input your Zoom details are used:

    1. Select Virtual for event type

    2. Select Zoom for Video Meeting Type

  6. Enter your event cost and event invitees

  7. Click FINISH

When you finish scheduling an event in your Dashboard, a new Zoom meeting will be created and your Zoom meeting link will be auto-populated in the calendar invite for this meeting.

How to connect your Company's Zoom account

During onboarding, your IT admin will connect your company's Zoom account so you can schedule meetings. Once the initial connection is made, no additional setup is required, and the integrations page

Note: this set up is part of the onboarding process. Once your IT admin has connected your company's Zoom account, changes can only be made by contacting support at support@chezie.co.

  1. Switch to admin view

  2. Click Settings β†’ Integrations

  1. Sign in with your selected Zoom account

Please note that the scopes below are only granted for the service account you use for the Chezie integration. We do not access profiles for any other Zoom accounts within your organization.

Scope

Purpose

View all user meetings /meeting:read:admin

This will enable administrators to effectively monitor and manage meeting activities within an organization, ensuring no scheduling conflicts occur.

View and manage all user meetings /meeting:write:admin

To allow a user to create new meetings.

View all user information /user:read:admin

To get list of all Users on a Company Zoom account to capture their Zoom Account ID to be used when creating meetings and retrieving meetings.
