How Event Surveys work in Chezie
Explanation of our event NPS survey feature.

Event surveys in Chezie are automatically distributed to attendees when attendance data is captured. This article explains how the survey system works and what to expect.
When Surveys Are Sent
Surveys are automatically sent when attendance is captured in Chezie. This typically happens within 10-15 minutes of attendance being recorded.
Microsoft Teams Integration Events
For events using Chezie's Microsoft Teams integration:
Attendance capture depends on the permissions your IT team has provided to Chezie
As a fallback, you can always click the "Refresh Attendance" button in Chezie for Teams meetings and your attendance should pull up
Surveys are sent automatically after attendance is successfully refreshed
Company admins or group admins for the hosting groups can click "Refresh Attendance"
Zoom Integration Events
For events using Chezie's Zoom integration:
Attendance is captured automatically
Surveys are sent automatically once attendance data comes in
External Meeting Link Events
For events using other external meeting platforms (Google Meet, WebEx, etc.) or custom meeting links:
Attendance cannot be captured automatically since Chezie doesn't have access to these platforms
Surveys will only be sent after manually uploading attendance data
Survey Content and Customization
Currently, event surveys use standardized content and cannot be customized per event. However, we're working on improvements to allow custom event surveys in the future.
Coming Soon: We're also developing a generic surveys feature that will allow you to build custom drag-and-drop surveys for general use beyond events.
Survey Management
Timing
Surveys are sent automatically when attendance is captured
There is no option to customize send timing currently (this is planned for future updates)
Surveys do not automatically close and remain open indefinitely
Notifications
Event organizers do not receive notifications when surveys are completed
No alerts are sent to leaders when attendees submit responses (typical response rates are 10-20%)
Reminders
Additional reminder surveys cannot be sent through the survey system
You can send reminder emails through Chezie's standard email features associated with the event
Troubleshooting
Surveys didn't send after refreshing attendance for Teams events: This could indicate a technical issue. Please contact support for investigation.
Need surveys to auto-close: You can submit this as a feature request at https://chezie.featurebase.app/
Want to customize survey timing or content: These features are planned for future updates.
